Bending Emacs - Episode 1
While most of the content I share is typically covered in blog posts, I'm trying something new.
Today, I'll share my first episode of Bending Emacs. This video focuses on how I like to apply (or batch-apply) command line utilities.
While the video focuses on applying command line utilities, here's a list of all the things I used:
- Org mode for the presentation itself.
- ffmpeg does the heavy lifting converting videos to gifs.
- Asked Claude for the relevant
ffmpegcommand via chatgpt-shell'sM-x chatgpt-shell-prompt-compose. - Browsed the video directory via dired mode.
- Previewed video thumbnails via ready-player mode.
- Previewed gifs via image mode's
M-x image-toggle-animation. - Validated the
ffmpegcommand via eshell. - Applied a DWIM shell command via
M-x dwim-shell-command. - Duplicated files from
diredviaM-x dwim-shell-commands-duplicate.
